Food Spaces

Last updated: August 23, 2023

Overview

A food space in the Scout app is a confirmed place for students to find food and/or drink on campus at UW. Whether a student is in the mood for a quick fuel up at a food truck, wanting a more leisure experience at a restaurant, or needs to stock up on the basics from a market, the food spaces in Scout will guide them to just the right place.

Information is key

The quality of Scout relies on details provided by campus partners: explaining the type of amenities, location, days and hours of availability, etc. associated with each food space. As a campus partner, you provide this information about the individual food spaces using a data management application called Scout Manager. The more information that you can include included forin each study space, the better tailored the search results are for Scout users.
