Surplus Old UW Cell Phones
Old or damaged University of Washington owned cell phones must be sent to UW Facilities – Surplus for proper disposal.
Before sending cell phones to Surplus, be sure the service has been disconnected and the device memory – which may contain contact names, outgoing/incoming phone call details, notes, calendar events, etc. – is completely wiped out. Refer to the phone manual and/or the manufacturer’s online instructions.
