Information & Technology Governance

Last updated: January 17, 2024

Information & Technology Governance (“I&T Governance”) enables transformation and innovation at the UW through strategic investment in information and technology. This governance structure links all relevant domains to unified executive leadership, working at multiple levels to direct strategy and decisions, evaluate proposed changes, and connect people with guidance and peer experiences for better decision-making.

Based on community input in 2022-2023, UW governance structures related to information and technology were reconceptualized resulting in a new Charge in January 2024 and the transition of prior governance groups.
