Microsoft Office for Desktop
Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus (aka Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise) for desktop allows users access to a collection of software and services developed by Microsoft for productivity, collaboration, cloud storage, and more. The collection includes the following downloadable desktop applications:
- Outlook
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- OneNote
- Teams
- Publisher (PC only)
- Access (PC only)
- OneDrive
How to Get Microsoft Office for Desktop
The downloadable desktop applications are available from the Microsoft 365 web page. Once logged in with your UW credentials, download the desktop applications by clicking “Install Office” in the upper right.
For mobile apps, visit your device’s app store.
Login with your UW credentials to Microsoft 365License Details
Your UW Microsoft 365 user subscription:
- Provides Office applications for installation on up to five PCs and Macs, five tablets, and five smartphones.
- It can be used on both personal and UW-owned computers and devices.
- It expires when you leave the UW.
- It is a per-person license. You may not share it with family or friends. We encourage using Microsoft Office LTSC for lab environments or shared devices.
