On June 24, 2008, President Mark A. Emmert charged a Working Group with developing a Business Plan for UW Technology (now named UW Information Technology), as a result of recent financial concerns. The group, led by Senior Vice President for Finance and Facilities V’Ella Warren, developed recommendations that ultimately resulted in a technology organization that is stable, sustainable, and built on a solid financial foundation. The Working Group was active from 2008 to 2010.
