Software Requests
UW Learning Technologies will make a best effort to accommodate requests for software that is not on the below list. Please submit inquiries through our our request form. Submissions should be made no less than forty-five (45) days before the installation is necessary (e.g. before the first day of the quarter, etc.).
We are unable to honor those requests that require the purchasing or licensing of software. Therefore, requests should be made for software that is open source or otherwise free for use in an academic computer laboratory. In cases where a department owns licenses for paid software, we will consider installation requests when provided with documentation in support of valid licensing, and when the requester confirms that those licenses are not in use elsewhere.
Note: This software will only be present during the requested quarter. Should it be required for a later quarter, an additional request should be made.
