Sophos Central
Sophos Central, a web-based enterprise console for managing anti-virus software on multiple computers, is available to UW departmental IT and system administrators. For Sophos Endpoint protection on the individual computer please see Sophos Anti-Virus.
Program Details
All UW departments can request access to Sophos Central. A separate instance of the application is provisioned by Sophos Support. There is no cost to the department; UW IT has paid for a site license for Sophos Central.
Sophos Central comes with Intercept X that combines deep learning with anti-exploit technology, CryptoGuard anti-ransomware, root cause analysis, and more to form the industry’s most comprehensive endpoint protection. This unique combination of features allows Intercept X to stop the widest range of endpoint threats. Sophos Central can protect stationery and mobile Windows, Macintosh, Android and iOS devices. Sophos Central is available to all UW departments, system administrators, and IT support teams.
