eSignatures

Service Description

The eSignatures service offering is a part of the Enterprise Document Management business service centrally managed by UW Information Technology. eSignatures capabilities are provided through an enterprise UW license for an online software technology called DocuSign. It provides the following business functions electronically and securely: signatures, data collection, approvals, notification and acknowledgement.

Service Options

eSignatures provides enterprise-wide DocuSign services to UW departments, and integration between DocuSign and our Enterprise Document Management Solution. eSignatures allows users to:

  • Easily upload and send documents for electronic signature
  • Securely access and sign documents
  • Check on a document’s status, send reminders, view audit trails and securely store online

Eligibility

eSignatures is available to University faculty and staff within academic, administrative and business units.

eSignatures is currently free for UW academic, administrative, and business units.
