Delegated OUs

Service Description

UW organizations can manage and join their computers to the NETID Windows domain. Customers retain autonomy and avoid the cost of running their own Windows domain. See service features for the rich set of capabilities provided.

Service Options

Delegated OUs provide a rich set of capabilities that allow computer management. Some of those capabilities include:

-UW NetID and Groups Service integration
-Domain migration assistance. Get some assistance migrating from your existing Windows domain.
-Unix integration guidance
-Bitlocker guidance
-Dynamic DNS services for workstations
-Delegated Service Principal Name privileges
-Group Managed Service Accounts for your Service account needs
-AD item-level restore, if you accidentally delete something
-AD Certificate services, for automated cert issuance for use cases internal to the UW
-Domain-based DFS Namespace Service for file Service publishing

Availability

Hours available: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Price

This service is included in the Technology Recharge Fee.

Service Level Description

During Business Hours (M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm) requests related to Delegated Ous can expect an initial response within 24 hours.

Service is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for disruptions. On-call staff are available for outage resolution.
