Powerful new digital audio software controller now available in Odegaard’s Sound Studio

Man in front of music production equipment

Make music, publish podcasts and produce digital audio using a new audio software controller called Ableton Push 2 recently installed in the Sound Studio in the Odegaard Undergraduate Library. The new equipment has a Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) pad controller used to produce and play digital instruments. Physical buttons, knobs, and a touch screen adaptive interface simplify the workflow for mixing, recording, sampling, and arranging. The Sound Studio is available to UW students, faculty and staff on the second floor in the library.
