Making Individual Views Public
Workspaces can be available to the public, or restricted to require participants to log in. If your workspace is restricted, you can select specific views to make
available to the general public, without logging in. These public views are also indexable by search engines.
To make a view public, follow these steps:
- From the Catalyst account page, click the name of the CommonView workspace with which you want to work. You will move to the workspace.
- On the menu on the left, click the view you want to manage. You will move to the selected view.
- Click the show/hide icon (found to the right of the view title at the top of the page), and select an option from the menu:
Show to participants: Show the view and its contents only to participants (requires login).
Hide from participants: Hide the view and its contents from all participants. The view will still be visible and editable by workspace administrators.
Show to the public: Show the view and its contents to the general public. A P appears to the left of views that are public.
