Join new community of practice to advance women with disabilities in STEM positions

Share ideas and create resources that increase the participation and advancement of women with disabilities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers, including faculty positions. “In higher education, it is often assumed that a person with a disability is a student,” said Sheryl Burgstahler, director of UW-IT’s Accessible Technology Services. “We look forward to advancing conversations that remind people that people with disabilities are present throughout academia.”
