This unit is responsible for:

Implementing IT Service Management as a best practice framework to ensure alignment of UW-IT services with the University’s current and future needs; this involves:

  • Implementing uniform processes across UW-IT to ensure a consistent and predictable customer experience.
  • Identifying and implementing roles for processes and services to improve transparency, accountability, strategic alignment and service delivery.
  • Implementing and supporting an IT Service Management toolset to support efficient uniform processes.
  • Supporting the Service Management Board, which provides input to the UW-IT Service Portfolio.
