Instant feedback using earbuds pays off big in critical teaching and learning moments
A new method piloted by UW College of Education faculty Kathleen Artman Meeker and Nancy Rosenberg gives “in-the-moment” feedback to educators who work with children with developmental disabilities. The “Bug in the Ear” project uses earbuds and video cameras to connect educators with their coaches while they are working in the field. The project is featured in the Innovators Among Us series, produced by the Office of the Provost, UW-IT, the Center for Teaching and Learning, and UW Libraries.
