Denny Hall technology renovation complete; ongoing UW Seattle refresh
The University’s oldest building, Denny Hall, reopened fall quarter, transformed with new technology-enabled classrooms, including a 100-seat Active Learning Classroom. This renovation is part of a larger technology refresh at UW Seattle, with more than a third of the 300 general use classrooms upgraded since 2013, outpacing the original eight-year plan. Modern electrical and network connectivity, advanced projection and audio systems, and lecterns are all standardized so instructors know what to expect no matter what room they’re in, enhancing the educational experience for students. UW Capital Planning & Development, UW Facilities Services and UW-IT are partnering on these projects.
