Add an event to your personal calendar

When you sign up for an event, you may want to know if any changes are made. You can do this by subscribing a live feed to your calendar.

You can also download a single event to your calendar via the Add to My Calendar link. However, this only gives you a snapshot of an event at the time you download it. You will not receive updates about any changes to the event.

Subscribing to a feed. In order to see all additions and updates, you must subscribe to a live calendar feed. Then, anytime an event is added or changed in Trumba, the feed updates and changes are reflected on the calendar  you subscribed to the feed. The instructions below will allow subscribed events to be automatically updated when any event is changed in Trumba. To see updates in your personal calendar when events are changed in Trumba, follow the steps below for your calendar program.

Note: The subscription to a live calendar feed normally includes current and future events, but not past events.

To subscribe a live calendar feed to your Outlook (or Google, or Yahoo, etc.) calendar, follow these steps:

  1. StepsAction
  2. Above the calendar, click +Subscribe.

  3. Select iCalendar Subscribe.

  4. Enter the email address of the account where you want calendar updates sent, and then click Subscribe.
    When you go to your calendar, you should see now see events appearing from the UW event calendar you subscribed to.
