Abbreviated Dialing
- To program a number, extension, or feature code for Abbreviated Dialing:
- Press [*][7][5] and wait for dial tone.
- Press [1] and wait for dial tone.
- Press 1 digit item number (0-9) and wait for dial tone.
- Press number, extension, or feature code which will correspond to list item.
- Press [#].
- To place a call using Abbreviated Dialing:
- Press [#][1].
- Press desired list item number (0-9).
Autodial
- To program an Autodial button:
- Press [*][7][5] and wait for dial tone.
- Press the button to be programmed. (Note: The button must already be programmed for Autodial capability by the UW Information Technology Service Center).
- Press the number, extension, or feature code to be stored. (Be sure to include the access code for off campus calls).
- Press [#].
- To use an Autodial button:
- Press the desired Autodial button.
Call Forwarding All Calls
- To temporarily redirect calls to another number:
- Press [Call Forward], or [*][7][2].
- Dial extension or number to which calls should be sent.
- To cancel Call Forwarding All Calls:
- Press [Call Forward], or [*][7][3].
Call Park
- To park an incoming call at your extension:
- Press [Transfer] and wait for dial tone.
- Press [*][5][3] and wait for confirmation tone.
- Hang up.
- To return to a call at your extension from any other phone:
- Press [*][5][4] and wait for dial tone.
- Dial number or extension where call is parked.
Call Pickup
- To answer a call ringing at another extension in your call pickup group:
- Press [Call Pickup], or [*][5][5]. (If more than one call is ringing, the first incoming call will be answered first.)
Call Drop
- To disconnect without hanging up the handset:
- Press [Drop].
Call Conference
- To conference up to 6 parties to a call:
- Press [Conference].
- Dial number of new party and wait for answer.
- Press [Conference].
- Repeat steps 1-3 for each additional conference connection.
- To add a call on hold to your current call:
- Press [Conference].
- Press line button of the call on hold.
- Press [Conference].
- To drop the last party added to a conference call:
- Press [Drop].
Last Number Redial
- To redial the last number (up to 24 digits) you dialed:
- Press [Last Number Redial], or [#][9].
Send All Calls
- To send all calls (except priority calls) to coverage:
- Press [Send All Calls] or [#][3][7][9].
- To cancel Send All Calls:
- Press [Send All Calls] or [*][7][3].
Call Transfer
- To transfer your call to another extension or number:
- Press [Transfer] and wait for dial tone.
- Dial the extension or number where the call is to be transferred.
- Press [Transfer].
- Hang up.
To access the Voice Mail System
- To access the Voice Mail System from your extension:
- Press [Voice Mail] or [79898].
- Follow voice mail system prompts.
