Now you can share your data visualization dashboards with colleagues anywhere in the world, with the new UW Tableau Public Server. Hosted by UW-IT, the server keeps your data safe and secure; viewers interact with your dashboard but do not download it or the data behind it, and a UW NetID is not required for access. This video uses familiar Microsoft Outlook calendar data as the basis for learning how to analyze data using Excel pivot tables. Pivot tables are easy to create and provide a powerful way to analyze data. Every analyst, accidental or otherwise, will benefit from this tool.

You’ll learn how to export your Microsoft Outlook calendar to a CSV file, open the CSV file in Microsoft Excel and massage the data, and analyze your data using an Excel pivot table.
