Did you know the University of Washington ranks 1st in Biochemistry degrees conferred among the top 25 US News and World Reports-ranked public universities? That’s just one of many facts you can discover using new dashboards in UW Profiles. Four new Peer Dashboards show how UW compares with national cohorts, all US public and private institutions, Research 1 institutions, and more. In addition to degree information, you can also compare UW’s graduation, retention and enrollment rates with institutions across the country.
Carol Diem, Director of Institutional Research, shared, “Most universities employ peer comparisons to understand size and scope and performance relative to peer institutions. These dashboards allow the user to do just that.”
The Peer Dashboards are the latest addition to the suite of interactive dashboards available at the award-winning UW Profiles Portal. This joint effort between the Office of Planning & Budgeting and Enterprise Data & Analytics represents the fourth major release of UW Profiles.
This release also introduces new functionality—the ability to apply global unit (campus, college, department) and academic quarter filter selections across all academic dashboards. The dashboards will render faster and display the data you want to see, by default. Learn more in the Global Filters section of the User Guide.
