Service Level Description
Alpine (and Web Alpine) is open source software released under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The software is provided on an 'as-is' basis.
The UW is no longer actively developing Alpine and Web Alpine. However, the UW-sponsored electronic mailing list Alpine-Info covers features, bugs and workarounds, usage, installation, customization and more pertaining to the Alpine software. While unmoderated, it is intended primarily for discussion of matters of interest to systems/email administrators, developers, trainers, user support personnel, and others involved with Alpine messaging on a 'technical' level. For information on how to be added to or removed from the list, see Subscribing to the Alpine-Info mailing list.
