What MyUW provides
MyUW is the front portal of University of Washington and is accessible to anyone with a UW NetID. MyUW provides you with access to many university tools and services to enable you to fulfill your goals at the university.
To access MyUW, open your web browser and navigate to http://myuw.washington.edu. When prompted, enter your UW NetID and password. Click the Forgot Password link if you need to reset your password.
Default content and user affiliation
Content in MyUW is generated based on your affiliations with the university such as the type of student you are, and your campus. For example, your view might reflect your affiliation as a Seattle campus undergraduate student, a Bothell campus graduate student, a professional and continuing education student at the Tacoma campus, or an UW applicant.
Navigate to different pages using the tabs in the left-hand menu. Selecting a tab moves the tab to the top of the menu.
The MyUW MyFrontpage contains a variety of useful services including access to your class schedule, access to email services, and popular quick links such as registration.
Use the MyAccount link, accessible in the upper-right of any page, to manage your email settings and settings for other UW computing services.
Within MyFrontpage you can also view important dates and deadlines, check your husky card balance, and view your directory information.
The Academics page contains helpful resources for students such as links to registration resources, the Time Schedule, degree planning tools, and grade tools such as the GPA calculator.
Use the Student Finances page to access a variety of important services including links to pay tuition and fees and to view your housing balance, information on your financial aid status and access to financial aid forms, and access to important tax information.
The Admissions page provides UW applicants with links to detailed information about their applications and links to helpful resources.
The Getting Around page contains access to UW Directories such as Student Service Offices, maps, including maps for each campus, and transportation services including UW Commuter Services information.
Use the Libraries page to access a variety of helpful library services such as your library account, catalogs, articles, and more.
The Help link, available in the upper-right on any MyUW page, provides access to additional detailed information on using MyUW.
Always Log Out (in the upper-right on any MyUW page) after using MyUW to ensure that your information is kept confidential.
